Chapman & Marriott Tree Specialists Ltd recently completed the safe removal of a fallen Beech tree at the Land Rover factory test track in Solihull. The tree had failed at the base, leaning on an old works building within the woodland area, which required careful handling and planning.
Handling a large fallen tree requires specialised methods to manage its weight distribution and reduce strain on nearby structures. Our team used advanced rigging and cutting techniques to gradually lower each branch, reducing the load on the building. This staged approach allowed us to control each part of the tree’s descent safely and effectively.
A critical part of this project involved evaluating the tree’s stability and the potential risks associated with its position against the building. We began by anchoring key sections to stabilise the tree, making sure we could safely remove it without risking damage to the structure. This initial assessment guided our approach, allowing us to work with accuracy and care.
Throughout the process, maintaining safety in the woodland test track area was our priority. By carefully planning and executing each step, we removed the Beech tree without disrupting the surrounding environment. Chapman & Marriott Tree Specialists Ltd is committed to offering reliable and safe tree removal services, handling complex projects with expertise.
